Documentary

Over the years I have made several documentaries that have been screened on television and at film festivals. In my first film, Om die liefde gaat het  / About That Love), I follow my own parents as Alzheimer’s disease increasingly shapes their lives.

In Het Late Leven  / The Late Life, I portray the actor Piet Kamerman, who lives a quiet and secluded old age in the green hills of Ireland.

Mijn Noord  / My North gives the floor primarily to older residents, who speak about how they deal with changes in their neighbourhood, as well as with loneliness, housing shortages and love. I produced these three documentaries independently.
