In the coming years, extensive construction will take place around Waterlandplein in Amsterdam North. In addition to the current work, the IJdoorn Project on the opposite side of Werengouw is now fully underway. Housing corporation Ymere is building new social housing here. Along the construction site, fences have again been put up, now extending to the corner of Volendammerweg. Displayed on the fencing are fifteen large-format photographs showing local residents and streets from the surrounding neighbourhood.
